Tate Britain
The home of British art and to the greatest collection of British art in the world, Tate Britain has graced the banks of the River Thames since 1897 and continues to be Millbank's most impressive landmark. As one of London's most architecturally rich venues this Grade 2* listed building encompasses diverse entertaining spaces, from classical and formal to contemporary galleries, in the presence of art works from 1500 to the present day. Venues include the Victorian Gallery 9, soaring Sackler Octagon and dramatic Manton Foyer.
