Aaron Whitelock
Director, “rhubarb” at the Royal Albert Hall

Aaron initially completed a professional chef diploma course, including a stint in the Groucho Club kitchens, before moving into hospitality management. After completing his studies at Westminster College he went on to work at the Château d'Esclimont hotel just outside Paris, before joining the staff of Claridges hotel in 1995. Aaron worked in six different departments in this fabulous hotel and eventually took the post of Reception Chef de Brigade or Duty Manager. After five years at Claridges he went on to work as Assistant Manager of the Athenaeum Hotel in London, before joining “rhubarb” in 2001 as Front of House Manager. In 2009 Aaron became Fixed Contract Director, a role in which he was responsible for much of the client facing and contract-based business. Then, when “rhubarb” tendered for the Royal Albert Hall contract in 2010, Aaron was instrumental in presenting and winning the contract and he now manages all “rhubarb’s” operations at the Hall.
