Clive has been Chairman of “rhubarb” since 2002. Brought in to the company by Lucy Gemmell he was tasked with developing strategy, recruiting senior management and creating new business channels. Clive is an ISIS Operating Partner and, in addition to “rhubarb”, currently chairs a number of other businesses, including: iLUKA – a corporate event hospitality management company; Scott Dunn – a luxury travel brand; and Crew Clothing – a multi channel retailer. Previously Clive was Chairman at Reach, and the former ISIS portfolio company Hawksmere.

Clive has a strong track record in building entrepreneurial businesses, both as Founder and Chairman, a career path that he began in the 80s when he established a mail order and sales promotion group that went on to be sold for £42 million in 1997.

Clive’s key skill is setting business strategy. He is an incredibly experienced Board Manager and specialises in founder mentoring, team building, management change and succession planning.
