The culinary team at Gallery Mess led by their new head chef have designed a delicious new May menu to celebrate the Chelsea Flower Show.

The a la carte menu will feature a selection of stunningly dressed dishes with edible flowers. The specifically designed set menu includes exquisite dishes carefully crafted to complement each other perfectly.

The new menu starts with a light ham hock terrine, served with piccalilli, pea shoots, dressed with jasmine blossom and served with toast. Followed by steamed dorade with aubergine caviar, chervil couscous, spring greens and edible flowers. For dessert is a pineapple carpaccio with coconut and lime sorbet, pineapple wafer and dressed with vananco leaves.

The team at Gallery Mess are excited to showcase the new dishes as well as inviting diners to enjoy floral cocktails such as a refreshing Butterfly Martini.

“rhubarb” is extremely excited to once again be catering for the annual Arqiva British Academy Television Awards. Taking place on 12th May, “rhubarb” will be providing delicious canapés for up to 1,400 guests as well as a three-course dinner for all the television stars.

The acclaimed award ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall is sure to be a star-studded occasion with the likes of TV duo Ant and Dec gracing the stage. The awards work within the industry to identify and reward excellence and therefore inspire practitioners and benefit the public. BAFTA is a leading charity ensuring that the best creative work can be accessed and appreciated by the public.

The “rhubarb” development kitchen has created an innovative and stylish menu guaranteed to excite and intrigue the diners. Guests will enjoy a carefully selected choice of canapés chosen from our extensive canapé list, such as fillet of beef with baby fondant potato and classic sauce Béarnaise or an asparagus and parmesan risotto in a crisp cornet. As well as exquisite canapés, there will be cocktails and champagne to get the evening off to a good start.

Following “rhubarb's” signature canapés will be a stunning three-course meal with a spring-inspired pudding and more drinks will bring the evening to a close.
